Overview:

At the end of a glorious northern summer come out to see a presentation on an Antarctic summer! 24 hour daylight meets cross country skis and endless ice. You'll get to see the 7th continent through a northern pilot's eyes and get an insight into camp life on the other end of our planet. Come ask any questions you have about the Antarctic and hear the story of one lucky Yellowknifer who got to see one of the most remote parts on earth.

Tom McLennan is a pilot and photographer with a love of travel. He has lived in Yellowknife for almost four years and flown all over the north, and now the far south. Originally an Ontarian Tom loves the outdoors, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and an evening beer on the porch. Keep an eye out for him commuting via kayak on houseboat bay.
