A Taste of Australia & New Zealand at Twin Pine Diner

Event Details


Join us for a fine dining event as Chef Robin Wasicuna of Twin Pine Diner struts his stuff. Chef Robin graduated from culinary school in 1990 and cooked his way across Canada returning to Yellowknife in 2004. In 2011 he started the food truck craze in town with Wiseguy Foods. He was a contestant on Chopped Canada and has represented the NWT nationally. After a very successful 4 years, he opened Twin Pine Diner in the summer of 2015.

Our evening will begin at 7pm sharp with reception wines from New Zealand. Throughout the evening we will wander through Australia tasting traditional and nontraditional wines from Margaret River, South Eastern Australia, McLaren Vale, Padthaway, and Adelaide Hills. Featured wines come from Marlborough and Central Otago in New Zealand, and Manuka Hill Estate, Shottesbrooke Vineyards, Wines by Geoff Hardy, Chapman Grove Wines, and Berton Vineyards in Australia.

Come out to enjoy a wonderful evening of delicious food, impressive wines and great Opimian fellowship.
