Walk to Work week events
Overview:
Join the City of Yellowknife, Ecology North (Transportation Issues Committee), and the GNWT Green Teams as we celebrate Walk to Work Week.
Each morning, we will be greeting walkers in various locations and handing out complimentary recreation passes, valid for a single admission at the City's recreation facilities.
On Wednesday, we'll have a hot beverage station at the Greenstone Building to get you started on your day and support your healthy choices. Please bring your own mug if possible!
In recognition of World Cancer Day on Thursday, admission to the walking track at the Fieldhouse will be free all day.
