City of Yellowknife and Cabin Radio Present: Drive-in Movies

Event Details


The City of Yellowknife is pleased to once again be partnering with Cabin Radio, to bring Yellowknifers a series of drive-in movies in the fall. Screenings will take place on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 9:00 p.m., and on Friday, October 2, 2020, with a double feature, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets will be available at no charge and on a first-come-first-served basis, from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020, via the City’s program booking software. To reserve one of the 40 vehicle spots available, visit The viewing area will be the parking lot between the Multiplex and Fieldhouse.

Cabin Radio will host a vote where residents can help select the line-up for the Fall Drive-in Movie series.  Residents will have the opportunity to select from a short-list of movies by following Cabin Radio on Facebook and making their selection by commenting on the Mornings at the Cabin Facebook Page here.

Please note that a ticket is required to attend this event and attendees are asked to respect the physical distancing guidelines set out by the GNWT and to follow all signage in place. If you are sick or not feeling well, please do not participate in the events and return home to self-isolate.City events may change with little notice.
